What to Wear

Cocktail attire, autumn colors

Think velvet, silk, and rich earthy tones — dressed up, but ready to dance. Suits and cocktail dresses; ties optional, personality required.

The Palette

Colors we love

You don't have to match the wedding — but if you want inspiration, this is our palette. Marigold, terracotta, olive, forest, plum, and cream. Wear one, wear them all.

Terracotta
Marigold
Plum
Olive
Forest
Cream

Please do

  • Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi — any of the palette colors
  • Suits in olive, brown, burgundy, or deep green (jacket optional by dinner)
  • Velvet, corduroy, silk — textures are encouraged
  • Comfortable dancing shoes — the floor is yours until late
  • A layer for the evening — October nights are crisp
  • Florals, patterns, and jewel tones — have fun with it

Please don't

  • White, ivory, or cream head-to-toe (that's for one of us)
  • Black tie / tuxedos — this is a notch more relaxed
  • Jeans, shorts, or sneakers (brunch is the exception)
  • Stilettos you can't survive on cobblestone and garden grass
  • Neon — save it for the afterparty we haven't planned yet

The Forecast

October in Mexico City

☀️ Days · ~72°F

Sunny, dry, and gorgeous. The rainy season is over by late October — expect blue skies and golden light.

🌙 Nights · ~50°F

It cools off fast after sunset. Bring a jacket, wrap, or shawl for the evening — you'll want it.

🌿 Ceremony · Outdoors

The ceremony and cocktail hour are in a garden; dinner and dancing move under cover. Dress for both.
